Refinements to PSC Scholarships
82 PSC scholarships were presented at the PSC Scholarships Award Ceremony on 22 July 2014.
In line with the introduction of the Public Service Leadership Programme (PSLP), which provides developmental pathways for diverse talent in the Public Service, the PSC has made some refinements to its scholarship schemes. With effect from the 2015 exercise, the “PSC Scholarship” will replace the OMS and L-OMS schemes. This will help sharpen the PSC’s focus on identifying outstanding young men and women with clear potential for the PSLP. “PSC Scholarship” holders will be emplaced on the PSLP upon graduation if they meet the emplacement criteria.
PSC scholarship schemes tied to the Foreign Service, Legal Service, Teaching Service and the Uniformed Services (SAF and SPF) will continue to be offered by the PSC, with no changes to their respective terms and conditions. There will be no changes to the application process for PSC scholarships – interested applicants may put in their applications at PSC Gateway (www.pscgateway.gov.sg) during the application window each year.
